Hernia Mesh

Many hernia mesh devices use materials that shrink, contract, harden, migrate, or fail -- causing nerve damage, bowel damage, and cause the need for further surgery.

Lawsuits involving hernia mesh products claim the medical devices are defectively designed and the manufacturers have failed to properly warn medical providers of the serious adverse complications and device failures.

IVC Filter

An IVC filter is a small device that is placed in your inferior vena cava to prevent blood clots from moving through your blood into your lungs.  Some of these devices have been defectively designed and are failing at a high rate, causing bleeding, organ damage, and/or chronic pain.

Essure is a permanent, irreversible, non-surgical birth control device for women.  The Essure device has been defectively designed so that it can fracture and move within a woman’s body, causing a woman's uterus and fallopian tubes to become punctured.
