$30 Million jury verdict against Hospital and ER surgeon for delay

Victim was bystander in drive-by shooting, was rushed to ER. ER doctor was performing an elective surgery and did not do anything to help the victim before he died two hours later. The surgeon told the hospital to "find another surgeon" but a back-up was not available and the hospital did not have a transfer plan.
