$15 Million jury verdict after hospital allows med school graduate to treat ICU patient

Hospital had a practice of allowing medical school graduates to treat critically-ill patients while they waited for the medical licenses. The woman, 44, was in ICU for several days after being admitted for shortness of breath. She was transferred to a telemetry floor, where she was watched by the med graduate.
